Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program (AYA) at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center provides age appropriate support groups and activities and facilitate access into national cancer support organizations for adolescents and young adults.
These patients fall into a gap between cancer centers designed for children and those designed for adults.
All AYA patients can transition to the follow up clinic and the “REACH for the STARS” Survivorship Program to continue comprehensive, multidisciplinary care
