The Susan Fund
Dedicated to providing educational scholarships to Fairfield County Students diagnosed with cancer.
When Susan Davis Lloyd passed away from osteogenic sarcoma the summer before she was supposed to start her freshman year at Colgate University, her family and many friends wanted to do something positive to remember her. The Susan Fund was established with the goal of helping other young people who have been treated for cancer attain their educational goals. The fund has continued to grow, and during the past 41 years has awarded more than $2 million. Through the generosity of others, Susan’s memory remains very much alive.
