Will Varvaro

Will is a senior at The New School working towards his Media Studies major with a self-designed concentration, focusing on film and creative writing. Upon graduation, Will plans to work in the film and media industry as an assistant producer for a few years and then apply to grad school. Will continues to work on short stories and a novel series which he has been working on for over five years. Will is currently working on a documentary project to bring awareness of LGBTQ mental health. Will’s academic advisor wrote, “Their ability to not only think critically about their academic and career goals but also put into action the necessary immediate steps impressed me early on in our working relationship.”
