Ryan Caulfield

This is Ryan’s sixth Susan Fund scholarship. He will graduate with a PhD in Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia in December 2025. He is more than halfway through with the nine-semester program. As Ryan wrote, “I plan on working in a major surgical center to hone my skills and begin to build my practice.” Ryan’s abilities both academically and interpersonally are outstanding. His reference wrote, “Ryan demonstrates the instincts of a veteran nurse and has a very solid knowledge base….He has a wonderful ability to relate to others …whether it is the surgeon performing the operation or the custodial staff.” He is at the point in his training that he is performing anesthetic care with supervision.
