Jose Campanario
Due to health issues, Jose was unable to attend college last year. He hopes to continue his studies at Western Connecticut State University this Fall. Jose has a passion for finance and is considering pursuing a career in this field upon graduation. The letter of recommendation from his precalculus honors teacher during Jose’s recovery said, “he is exemplary and his determination and ability to focus are noteworthy…He completed all of the same assignments as the rest of the students, without any adaptations, and performed brilliantly. He always received me with a smile on his face, even on the days following treatment…I personally respect and admire Jose and his family.” This is Jose’s third Susan Fund scholarship.
