Michael is pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting at Fairfield University after earning a dual degree from Stonehill College in 2022. He works full-time at Fairfield County Bank while attending classes and hopes to move into an accounting role at the bank after completing his certificate. He has also earned his Certified Professional Teller certificate and has become a notary this past year. Despite the demands of work and school, Michael continues to give back through Operation Hope, food and toy drives. He manages his lasting effects from his illness and treatment while pursuing his educational and professional goals. Michael served as the featured speaker at The Susan Fund's 2022 reception. This is his sixth Susan Fund award.
