Keylin Salazar

Keylin is a senior, majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences. Upon graduation, she plans to attend graduate school and obtain a Master's in Social Work. Keylin has gained educational experience by volunteering at the Children's Community Development Center in Westport for her practicum hours, learning more about children and how to build relationships with them. She has applied the observation method by working with each child at the Center. Her letter of recommendation states, "Everything from Keylin's professionalism and work ethic to the uniquely valuable perspective she brings to our work with children makes me confident she will become a significant force of good in this world." This is Keylin's fourth Susan Fund scholarship.
