Josh is a first-year medical student at Quinnipiac. He has completed 2,000+ hours as a clinical research coordinator at the New England Institute for Clinical Research, working with patients facing neurological disorders. Josh enjoys volunteering for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Gift of Life, and Imerman Angels. He feels that mentoring a young cancer patient, coaching youth athletes, and supporting non-profit partners has reinforced his desire to combine medical care with community engagement. Josh's letter of reference states, "He lifts the people around him, shows initiative without being asked, and understands both the scientific and human sides of research." This is Josh's fifth Susan Fund award.
