Charlie is studying acting at Montclair State University and is pursuing his goal of becoming a professional actor. Over the past year, he has performed and worked in production on several school shows, participated in community theater, and made a film with Triple Threat Academy that is being submitted to film festivals in California and New York. He has also continued developing his craft through the Stella Adler Conservatory Summer Intensive. Charlie says his experience with cancer strengthened his determination to pursue his ambitions and continually challenge himself to grow. His acting professor describes him as "a smart and sensitive actor" who is dedicated, disciplined, and deeply interested in the collaborative process. This is his third Susan Fund award.
