This is Fleuranda’s second Susan Fund scholarship, She recently completed her Associate’s degree in Social Work at Norwalk Community College. This Fall she’ll continue her studies towards a Bachelor's degree in social work at SCSU. At NCC Fleuranda was an active member of the HASTA club, holding increasing levels of responsibility from secretary to President. She wanted to become more connected to her Haitian culture and spread awareness. Her letter of recommendation states “she has proven her commitment and dedication to becoming the best she can achieve toward her education.”
