Madiline O'Farrell

This is Madeline’s first Susan Fund award. She will be a freshman in the Occupational Therapy Honors Program at Quinnipiac University this Fall. During high school, Madeline was an active volunteer for the National Honor Society Blood
Drive and was President of Best Buddies Friendship Club. The club’s focus is the inclusion of students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Maddie’s letter of reference from her doctor states “Maddie is an exceptional young woman, not just because she went through all this, but how she went through it all. Her classmates will be lucky to have her perspective, intelligence and demeanor when
working together.”
