Declan Ratner

This is Declan’s second Susan Fund scholarship. He is currently a sophomore in the PA-Dual Degree program at SHU, including working towards a Biology degree before PA school. Despite a heavy course load, Declan drives SHU students to volunteer sites for community service hours and has the opportunity to volunteer
with them. This past summer Declan volunteered on a mission trip to help a New Jersey community repair houses, gardens and repainting. His letter of recommendation states “Declan is blessed with an extraordinary outgoing nature. His warm personality, natural ebullience, easy laugh and winning smile seem to connect with all who meet him.”
