Sona Kocinsky
Trumbull, CT
Sona is a senior at Tufts University. She is pursuing a biology major and a physics minor. After graduating, Sona plans to attend medical school and specialize in pediatric oncology. Sona has participated in two summer cancer research internship programs. She recently made an oral presentation on her St. Jude research project at the AACR annual meeting in San Diego. Among her many volunteer programs, Sona is a 2024 member of the MIB Agents Junior Advisory Board and attended its FACTOR meeting this summer. Sona has also volunteered for Outreach for Tutors for Hope, that offers free tutoring to pediatric cancer patients, as well as Tuft University’s chapter of Strong Women, Strong Girls, and the Boston Harbor Ronald McDonald House.
