Matthew Viglucci
Matt is a junior and a three-time Susan Fund Scholarship recipient. His career goal is to work in sound production and the orchestration areas of the music industry. Another goal is to learn the culture and language of Japan, so he can compose for Japanese Anime soundtracks. To that end, during his spring semester Matt attended courses at Seinan Gakuin University in Fukuoka Japan. While in Japan, he volunteered to participate in a community service program teaching English to young children. He has also been a fundraiser for the local Relay for Life in New Fairfield, CT. Matt’s letter of recommendation said, “He has distinguished himself as a dedicated and responsible student, both in class and in his extracurricular activities.”
