Josh will be a senior this Fall at the University of Maryland. This is his fourth Susan Fund award. Upon graduation, Josh plans to attend medical school which he hopes will have an MD/Masters of Public Health program so that he may be a doctor as well as a health advocate in the future. Josh’s long term goal is to become a pediatric oncologist, and to continue to do more extensive research in the field of immunotherapy. His letter of recommendation states “the lessons Josh has learned from his overall life -changing story has given him traits and experience that I believe will undoubtedly make him succeed in any path he chooses.”
