James Spengler
James will be a freshman this fall at the University of Dayton majoring in Sports Management/Marketing. While in college and beyond, he hopes to continue his life’s work in spreading awareness of and raising money for pediatric cancer patients and their families.
This past summer, James traveled to Lourdes, France on a spiritual pilgrimage. During this time he spent ten days serving and protecting the sick on their spiritual and healing journey to the Blessed Mother. James also has established the 9th Floor Foundation to raise money for families fighting pediatric cancer. He has raised $10k for Kids for Kids Going For Gold, where Fairfield Ludlow High dedicates one game in the month of September to pediatric cancer. This is James' first Susan Fund scholarship.
