Jack Demers
Jack will be a senior this fall at Eastern Connecticut State University. He is a Communications major and his educational goal is to, ―complete my undergraduate degree with consistent and exceptional grades that reflect my effort and knowledge of what I learned in each and every course.‖ Jack is a three-time neuroblastoma cancer survivor and volunteers at The Children‘s Hospital at Montefiore. His letter of recommendation from the Patient Care Coordinator at the Hospital says, ―Jack is able to establish an immediate rapport with pediatric oncology patients. Jack continuously radiates with maturity, composure, and compassion with each and every human encounter he has.‖ This is Jack‘s fourth Susan Fund award.
