Giacomo Brancato
Giacomo is a six-time Susan Fund scholarship recipient. His goal is to earn his MBA in Business Finance from the Dolan School of Business. He graduated from Fairfield University on Dean‘s list and spent last year earning a certificate in business. Giacomo also was a member of the school‘s Division I baseball team. He hopes that just maybe he‘ll be drafted by the MLB. Giacomo celebrated seven years in remission this past June. He would like to inspire those who are battling cancer. He notes, ―They should never give up and keep fighting.‖ He demonstrated this quality in dealing with recent hip surgeries, which derailed his ability to play baseball for now. His grit and determination will enable him to recover and return to his passion.
