Emma Stauber
Emma is a freshman at SCSU; she is a Secondary Education major with a concentration in history. Her career goals are to become a high school teacher and a mentor. She wants to show students that learning is fun. During the past school year, Emma worked at a daycare for a local gym, The Edge. There were 30-35 kids that she would participate with each day. She loved playing games with the children, and they would teach her new games as well. Emma‘s letter of recommendation states that she ―is a person of tremendous character and positive attributes. She is not only a hard-working student but also a truly good person.‖ This is Emma‘s first Susan Fund award.
