During the pandemic Will decided to transfer colleges, realizing that his previous school was not the right fit for him. The school that he attends now will allow him to pursue a degree in film/media arts and communications, where he can enjoy his passion for editing and film production. Will feels strongly that The New School will be the perfect fit for his career goals. This past summer, Will was his mother’s social media manager. He edited her Instagram and Facebook pages as well as her house tours for her real estate job.
His letter of recommendation describes Will as “a confident, self-aware young man possessing the communication skills needed to advocate for himself in any learning environment. He stands above his peers in maturity and is communicative and well-spoken.” This is Will’s third Susan Fund award.
