Josh is a graduate of Trumbull High School and is in his freshman year at Maryland. He wrote, “Seeing first-hand the commitment, bravery and heroism of the doctors who saved my life, I feel that it is my destiny to eventually become a Pediatric Oncologist.” Volunteerism has played an important role in Josh’s life. At Trumbull High School, he was the President of the Infinite Love Junior Board. It works with the Infinite Love Foundation, an organization which was established in Connecticut to “raise awareness and fund research in regards to all things childhood cancer, but most importantly to support children and their families in their fight.” He has also been an ambassador for The Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation and met with a child who was being treated for the same cancer he had. This is Josh’s first Susan Fund scholarship.
